The AVANOS* Paracentesis Trays are specifically designed for large volume paracentesis and provide all the components necessary to complete the procedure in one convenient package. As a result, paracentesis procedure times are decreased as much as 50%1, leading to improved procedural throughput. Benefits of Shorter Drainage TimeThe lessened duration of the drainage enables clinicians to be with the patient during the entire procedure. Plus, the probability of the patient contracting an infection is decreased. Further improving patient comfort, the tray decreases the need for multiple punctures. The Paracentesis Trays are compatible with wall and portable suction, vacuum bottles, or gravity drain. These trays can be utilized for both diagnostic and therapeutic paracentesis procedures.
