The Iwansson Measuring Device is a very useful instrument when you want to confirm the wall thickness of crowns etc. At rest the pointer is precisely located at the zero-position so that in use the accurate scale-gradation gives a true reading. The scale is accurate to within 1/10 of a mm. Model I is recommended for rigid materials such as porcelain, gold etc. The tips of Model I are thin and sharp, while Model I-H has more rounded tips and a softer spring, which makes it more suitable for softer materials such as plastic, wax, etc. They are made of high quality stainless steel.Product Videos
